This issue's focus will be on freelancing tips. While our business is down, this is the time to regroup, reinvent and market in new ways.I recently went to an OC networking meeting to get some tips. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. I didn't get the feeling that it was a bunch of unemployed people looking for work connections. Rather, it was a group of people looking to share their successes, failures and looking to gather information and arm themselves with new knowledge and contacts to grow their own businesses.
We must empower ourselves and not look to someone else to do it for us. Remember, we will emerge from this stronger and more professional with an expanded set of skills.
